Are You Considering A Boob Job? Stay In The UK Or Run The Risks!

Many women are unhappy with the breasts and, as such, are actively considering having a boob job. The problem for many, however, is that such procedures are expensive…at least in the UK. Unfortunately, in recent years, we’ve seen a huge rise in the number of Brits jetting off to Eastern Europe for cosmetic surgery for the sole reason that it’s far cheaper. Of course, there’s a saying that if something is too good to be true, it probably is and when it comes to having cosmetic surgery abroad, this really is the case. Whilst there’s been a huge rise in those going abroad for surgery, there’s similarly been a huge rise in those coming back unhappy with the procedure. As such, if you’re currently considering a boob job, take our advice and stay in the UK!

We recently spoke with Marcus of Landauer Cosmetic Surgery Group, one of the leading providers of breast surgery in the UK on this and, as such, wanted to offer a little encouragement as to why going abroad should never be an option.

What you have to remember when having surgery in the UK is that we’re lucky to have very tight regulations when it comes to such procedures. In addition, we’ve got a fantastic selection of private hospitals and health groups, all of whom offer only the very best level of care, in some cases far better than the NHS. When you go abroad, however, you’re sacrificing this level of care and regulation. It’s safe to say that when you book a ‘dirt cheap’ boob job on the internet in Eastern Europe, you’ve absolutely no idea who is going to be carrying out the procedure and how well qualified they are. You won’t get a lengthy consultation as you would in the UK and you certainly won’t get the aftercare you’ll need.

When you travel to Eastern Europe, you’re simply another woman in a long line of boob-job to be’s. There’s no care about the end results so long as you pay up. To us, however, this is wrong and no woman should have to return home feeling more self conscious than she did before. Of course, the easy option is to stay in the UK for surgery. It may cost more, however when you read the risks, it’s worth every penny if only for the reassurance that you’ll end up with the results you’ve always dreamed of!
